how can i help heal her kennel cough and a way to give her the medicine the vet gave her? i cant get her to open her mouth its so hard please help!
Liquid or tablet form??
If you are struggling with the liquid, make a phone call to your vet and request tablets instead. Easy fix!
If the tablets are giving you a problem: take a small piece of bread (half dollar size), slap on some peanut butter, place the tablet in the middle, and fold the bread over…. works like a charm!
I wish you luck!

Try putting peanut butter on the medicine - that works for my dog!

She needs to continue with the medication. That is the only way she’ll get better. Is it liquid or tablets? If its tablets try putting it in cheese, chicken, etc

Put the medicine in a treat and give it to her. Maybe roll it up in some cheese. She’ll scarff it right down!

If it’s in tablets you can stick it in food or treats. If its liquid, you don’t need to open her mouth. Just have someone help you hold her still, tip her head up, and use a syringe or eyedropper to squirt it inside her cheek near the back of her mouth.

If it is tablet form then you can either open her mouth and put it way back in her throat and then rub her neck to get it down or else rap it up in a piece of meet and tey that or mix it in with her dog food. If it is liquid then you can get a medicine syringe at the vet andgive her how ever many cc she is suppose to have at one time. That is how I give my dogs their medicine when they need to take some.
