My girlfriend keeps coughing during the winter what can I do?

Every winter, she starts coughing. The cough lasts all throughout winter season. She doesn’t cough any other time of the year. It’s more like a coughing fits, some times it’s so bad you can’t get a word in edge wise to ask her if she’s ok. She discribes it as a tingling sensation inside her through which in turn makes her start to cough. Can anyone tell me what I might be able to do to help her?
Guy’s right , try honey or honey based meds. Broncolin is the best. If you can’t find it, Lay her down use Vick’s on her chest and throat and rub thoroughly (be civil and mindful, respect your woman of course.) Then cover her with an extra blanket for the night.

has she had whooping cough vaccination? it’s not likely to be that. but it doesn’t hurt. people who get bad coughs with viruses are often more susceptible to it. they’re usually free.
also the urge to cough can be reduced with a hot honey and lemon drink as it helps coat the insides of the throat. cough drops are more for if the throat is sore and/or inflamed. otherwise. get her to boost her immune system with a multi vitamin in the month before winter hits and keep taking it through the winter.
also check whether she coughs more or less with the ehating on. sometimes they can put particles in the air that can cause people to cough more.
