What is a great cough medicine for a child?

My daughter has a bad cough. What is or was your favorite medicine for your child for a bad cough?

Be very carefull about giving a child over the counter meds for colds, coughs. The media is trying to get the news out, that some of these are dangerous for children under a certain age and have even caused deaths. When your child is coughing he needs to see a doctor, try the yellow pages for free clinics in your area.

    herbal ones like adusol or smile. non-drowsy, no alchol

    Good Morning,

    If your daughter has a bad cough, take her to her pediatrician. Your daughter might be just displaying the symptoms of a cough but have underlying concerns that she is not manifesting with complaints – ie, ear infection, chest cold, etc.

    Please seek proper treatment for her. I hope she gets to feeling better soon.
