how to cure a yellow phlegm cough?

i’ve benn coughing since yesterday…………with yellow phlegm…..can you advice me a cure?

Go see a doctor; it sounds like you have an infection. I’ve had a couple of these and I know it’s not fun; a doctor will give you some antibiotics to take, usually enough for 10 days. You will see significant improvements in 2-3 days.

    Most of the time, it’s best to let it run its course; it is removing ‘junk’ from your system.

    In the meantime, DO NOT take any milk or milk products (ice cream, etc). This increases phlegm!! If you want to take a break from coughing, pick up a cough suppressant. If you want to get some sleep, get NyQuil!! If you just want some relief to breathe or feel ‘open’, drink lots of hot tea with lemon and honey. (This will loosen up more but it will also clear your throat a bit).

    In the case of a severe cough, orange juice and water can be taken till the severity is reduced. The procedure is to take the juice of an orange diluted in a cup of warm water, every two hours. Check out http://usefulinfo-cough.blogspot.com/ for more remedies and information.
