How can I get rid of chronic coughing up phlegm?
06.November, 2009
I live in Beijing, which is a bit of a dirty, crowded polluted city. I am much more prone to colds here than in Australia, and I often cough up clear, white and pale yellow phelgm, especially when I go swimming. Even when I don’t have a cold I still have "Beijing lungs" - I cough up phlegm and I have stuff sitting at the back of my nose and throat, which is pretty uncomfortable.
Any ideas as to what I can do to get rid of this chronic phelgm?
Thanks!
Dairy intolerance can cause phlegm..cut out dairy from diet for 6 months and then re-introduce it slowly.
if you don’t eat dairy then go doc’s to check what else it can be

If it’s sitting in the back of your throat-it’s probably going to keep growing. You probably have some sort of dying bug or bacterial infection. Try a product called Biosolve-it makes it break down more easily-the more you cough up-the less thats in you.
Yellow is usually a sign of infection!
Try putting some vicks into a bowl of hot water-put a teatowel over your head and inhale the vapours-should clear your nose/throat a bit-otherwise cutting onions sometimes helps.
