what is cough variant asthma/cough induced asthma–what is the rreatment for that?

vomitting also taking place while coughing
Cough-variant asthma is still asthma and is treated the same way (bronchodilators, inhaled steroids, etc.). It just means that your symptoms are primarily coughing, as opposed to wheezing. If you want to treat the cough directly with over-the-counter meds, you can, but it is better to treat the underlying asthma. Treating the asthma will help you cough up the mucus that can be there, whereas suppressing the cough will not help get rid of the mucus. Guaifenesin cough syrup can help mobilize the mucus without suppressing the cough.
If you are vomiting during coughing, you must be coughing very hard. Certain infections can lead to that "post-tussive vomiting," so be sure to get checked out for that.

not sure what the question means.
vomiting takes place by an overstimulation caused by the coughing.
if this type of coughing is happening, visit an ER or urgent care.

Both my children have this. There first symptom of asthma is a dry short cough. It usually is continuous but can vary in length of time between coughs. Coughing usually subsides with use of inhaler. It’s like it stops the spasm. If you have this you should see an asthma doctor so you can have an "action plan". My children do wheeze but it’s usually with a bad cold or resp. infection Cold air and smoke are other triggers for their cough.
