Hard Cough

How can i get rid of this awful tickle in my throat. It’s causing me to have a very dry cough that sounds very hoarse.

All the coughing is giving me headaches as well but it’s late at night so I can’t go out and get cough medicine until tomorrow morning so is there anything i can do to help ease it off tonight?
Please help me!

Cough drops, tea. Do you have an menthol like vicks so you can rub on your feet and chest? Do you have a humidifier? Do you have any lemons you can put in tea? I pray you feel better soon.

I’ve had a dry cough for a couple of days know what could I take or do to cure it?

I recently quit smoking, and as usual for most people I have an annoying cough. It’s not as bad as it could be though since I only smoked 2 packs a week on average. Is it okay to use cough drops or cough syrup to suppress the cough or do I need to let myself cough?

As your lungs are healing (the cila growing back) your lungs are trying to expel the crud that has been in them for the period of time you smoked. You should try and cough it out. If you are feeling ill in any other way I would advise seeing a doctor for a chest xray just to be sure. Good luck.

Several reasons: you could be allergic to something; you could have asthma; you could be coughing due to acid reflux; or you could be choking on something. Only one way to find out for sure–see your doctor.
