Whenever I laugh hard, I start to cough and I don’t have asthma?
31.August, 2011
Whenever I laugh hard, I start coughing. I told my mom this and she doesn’t think it’s asthma. Help?
Just so you know asthma can occur anytime you dont have to be born with it. But you could have bronchitis(excuse the spelling),another lung problem, or be really out of shape.
What causes uncontrollable shaking, coughing and asthma?
26.August, 2011
I have asthma and just recently i have been experiencing uncontrollable shaking and coughing, The coughing won’t stop unless i am in a cold room, and same with the shaking. This is really freaking me out please help.
is better to consult an expert… He will help you.
The brown phlegm is an indicator of a bacterial infection and the coughing is just the mechanism to try and expel this phlegm. Go to your physician and have him/her, give you a prescription for an antibiotic(preferably NOT amoxicillin).
Whats the best medicine to take for a cough?
17.August, 2011
I can’t stop coughing, its definitely chest congestion. My nose is also congested. The problem is that it isn’t productive, absolutely nothing comes loose when I cough. Its so bad that I have to cough about every 30 seconds.
I have tried Halls (Honey Lemon) cough drops and tried generic cough syrup, but neither has worked.
What is the best thing to take for my kind of cough?
you need a cough syrup with an expectorant in it. drink lots of fluids but stay away from milk products because they make mucus.A product for decongestion for your nose.you can by a cold medicine that has both of these in it that is generic you just have to read the labels.I prefer syrup in the fridge because it feels better on your throat. also if you go to the doctor he can prescribe you a nifty little cough pearl that will get rid of any cough you might have.
I just got a call to work as a waitress tomorrow evening, but the problem is that I’m still coughing badly from my chronic bronchitis and my nose is runny…I feel fine and can work, I just don’t want people to be turned off by it…
Explain to your Boss that you are willing to work but you have a cough from chronic bronchitis and a running nose and see if they think that you should work. Hope you get better.
Has anyone taken Zocor or similar cholesterol lowering drugs and experienced chronic cough 2 months later?
12.August, 2011
I have had a chronic upper lung cough now since the week before memorial day. I’ve been to the doctor several times and allergy doctor and tried a host of typical allergy and bronchial relief drugs and nothing seems to work. The only thing I can relate to a new change in my enviroment is starting Zocor about a month or two before the cough began.
I have been taking simvastatin (Zocor) for 7 years now. To my knowlege there is not a cough related side effect associated with it. However, there is always a first. My suggestion is to first tell your doctor about your cough and ask if is there is an alternative he could put you on or you could discontinue taking it for about a week and see if the cough disappears and then you would know.
I have been smoking quite heavily for 7 months, and developed a very chesty (sounds like smokers cough) cough with alot of mucus. After the antibiotics are finished (they work perfectly) the cough returns in a matter of days. I am planning on quitting the smokes from today, but just wondering why it keeps returning, should i see my doctor and get chest x-rays, and any ideas on how long it will take for cough to go away? Thanks.
COPD, look it up or you could have a viral lung infection which is why the antibiotics don’;t actually cure it.
How common is kennel cough and how does a dog get it?
05.August, 2011
My dog just got kennel cough and i just want some background information on it.
Kennel cough is very common if you go to the pound it runs ramped there, the reason for it is that Kennel cough ia a virus and it is passed through the air, just like people with colds and when they cough or sneeze, the virus flies in the air, all a dog has to do is breathe it and they will get it. If you have other dog in the house you should separated them or they will get it too. There is a vaccine that they give that sometimes prevents dogs from getting it.
