Hard Cough

in one nose i can breath(but its all runny so i used to much tissue so it hurts my skin) and the other hole is.. i cant breath at all
ive been taking cold and sinus piills but it doesnt work?
and i have really bad coughs.

My doctor actually prescribe me Robitussin but it seems it did not work and my stomach fell sour after i drink so i stop. then i tried another herbal medicine no sour pain but the soothing effect is only temporary.

So my friends told me that the best medicine for dry cough is amoxicillin especially if the cough is lasted to 1 week. how true is this?

If your doctor doesn’t prescribe antibiotics, then don’t take them. It’s misuse of antibiotics that is making them…can’t think of the word…but not work anymore. That’s a serious thing. Do what your doctor says. Get some cough drops. Those awful eucalyptus ones work. Been there.

I took my my 4 year old pomeranian to the hospital with breathing distress – he was diagnosed with a collapsing trachea, I have always heard that these dogs cough a lot. I never heard my baby coughing. can someone help me. I am really scared I don’t want to loose him. The vet gave me a cough suppressant (she says that it helps with the breathing) and a pill that’s supposed to help calm him.

If you don’t trust the vet’s diagnosis, then consult a second vet. Yes, coughing is the most frequent symptom, but it doesn’t mean that without coughing, there isn’t a trachea collapsing.

This problem, if it stands alone and isn’t like to CHF or injury, is often hereditary. Did you use a responsible APC breeder? If so, you need to contact them to let them know of the diagnosis.

Around 3 days ago I woke up with a sore throat. It hurts to swallow, my tongue is yellowish at the back nearer to my throat, when I cough I often produce phlegm. Although I do not have a headache, or a runny nose etc.

What could this be or is it just a sore throat?

There’s definitely a possibility you could have strep throat.
